Rising above the crowd.

It’s no secret that there a lot of web designers and more start up every day and each one has unique talents and specialties. The challenge that all businesses, including Spruce, face is how do you communicate your unique value to the world? As video producers, our challenge is to understand that value and tell the story in a visually powerful way.

We put a lot of emphasis on our pre-production creative process because it is such a valuable time for discovery. Learning about our clients and their businesses allows us to truly pinpoint their unique story. With Spruce Sites, we found that Mike and Elijah were remarkably determined and passionate about staying on the cutting edge of technology. As true entrepreneurs, they are always thinking up new ideas based on their understanding of what’s new and current in the digital space. This means their clients get fresh, sophisticated websites that are well positioned.

When filming and producing this video, we were very specific with how we set the scene. We wanted total consistency between the visual, audio and word content that conveyed Mike and Elijah’s technical proficiency. It was as detailed as making sure a computer logo stood out in a certain shot to an overall feeling of the space. Our goal is to present an overall image that accurately and consistently portrays the personality and unique value of Spruce.

Search engines like Google, Yahoo and Bing prefer rich content like video so those searching for website designers in the WNC area will be able to find the video on searches. The video will be on the Spruce Sites page and is also planned to be part of their 2016 marketing campaign.

Part of the pre-production process involved defining the brand message of Spruce Sites. Identifying your unique brand story can help connect your audience to your brand and allow you to stand out from the crowd.

These videos are powerful tools for website, social media and any other digital marketing efforts.

If used strategically across multiple platforms, videos can have a long lifespan. Especially if the video is used regularly in marketing efforts and posted several times across multiple channels.
